First Crawl

Crawling: September 27, 2009 from Taylor Hadfield on Vimeo.

Crawling: September 27, 2009

It was a big day! Sis has officially crawled and she did it with such finesse. Until today she had been comfortable on all fours, rocking back and forth, but had never made that first stride forward. Well, she is a mobile girl now. Watch out world!

Bombay House

Finally I have found an Indian restaurant in SLC that rivals the Tandoor in Seattle's U. district.
Here are my friends and I enjoying the deliciousness that the Bombay House offers.

We're Lousy With Cat-Face Spiders

I call this one Vanilla Cat-Face. He hangs out on my Mom's back patio. These spiders are very cool. Sure, I would freak my freak if I found one crawling on me, but they are completely harmless to humans. They live their entire lives within a very small proximity, building and rebuilding their web in the same location each day.

I originally posted this shot of Chestnut Cat-Face a couple of weeks ago, but felt that his presence was necessary again.

Salt and Pepper Cat-Face is proving to be a very difficult subject to photograph. He is nestled within a corner and I can not get the necessary focus to shoot him from the back-side. I will keep trying.

Random shots of Happiness

Sis absolutely loved her first experience in the big bath-tub. It didn't hurt that big-brother was there with her to share the fun.

Drizzle Puss

Munchkin was asked to dress up for Western Days at school.

Evening Skies

09/17/09

Evening Skies

We have been having the most amazing evening skies this week. Afternoon clouds have been rolling in giving the setting sun a chance to really put on a show.

Sweetness

You two fulfill me completely. I love you both so much.

Sequence of thoughts by Sarah

"Hey, we're just chillin'"

"Hmm, I've never noticed all that hair on Big-Brother's head."

"Well, I guess I will have to pull it."

Alphabet Crowns

Munchkin and Markie each earned their alphabet crowns at school today. They know all the letters and sounds! Way to go boys.

A few friends gathered for some fun with Mark and Mikelle. Since M&M were here instead of at Burning Man this year we constructed a man...and burned him. Here are some random pictures of our own Burning Man. Thanks to Angie for some of these photos.

Me and Walter

Me, Floor, Angie, Amanda

Jeremy and Mark

Amanda is sad that the burn is over.

We had a good night.

BBQ

We spent time with Mikelle and Mark this weekend. I wish I got to see them more often. We sure have fun when we get together.

Ferin, the infamous Kerry Jensen and Emily

BBQ

The Alexanders hosted a BBQ for Mikelle and Mark while they were here from Seattle.

A Day at Lagoon

Munchkin finally felt ready to try the Pterodactyl Drop. Dada has been anxiously waiting to ride this one with Ry.

The swings

We don't usually ride the big-kid rides. When we go to Lagoon our time is spent in Kiddie Land. Today Jeremy thought he would give The Samurai a go. He enjoyed it.
