How Now, Brown Cow

The quality of these pictures suck because they were taken on my phone. But, the image will show that there was something amazing going on tonight. While leaving my cabin, Munchkin and I saw a cow moose and her very young calf. WOW!!!

Thanks for Coming!

We sure enjoyed having Tarey and Lisa here for the weekend!

Here we are on the Lamb's Canyon road before our dangerous descent back to the cabin (we should have just followed the road back)...my bad!

Lagoon

Yesterday, Munchkin went to Lagoon for the first time. I was worried about how he might react to the rides, but he proved that there was no reason for alarm. He was well behaved and happy the whole day. What a proud Mama he makes me.

Happy to be on the Choo-Choo Train:

5 Years!

July 30, 2007
Today is our five-year anniversary. Wow! I am a rich woman. I have everything I could possibly want and need. My life couldn't be better.
Thank you to my sweet husband for standing by my side these past five years. We have a lot of beautiful times behind us and plenty still to come.

Here we are on our wedding day. Don't we look happy? We are...we're about to spend 10 days in Maui.

BUSTED! I can't believe the mess we were greeted with when we left our reception.

Living Planet Aquarium

The shark tank:

I couldn't believe that I was witnessing the death of a shark. One shark had another by its' fin and wouldn't let go. The quarel developed into a spinning frenzy as the prey was trying to escape. Alas, his body went limp and the predator let his body fall. As soon as the predator let go, the limp body regained strength and swam away. Good grief!

Living Planet Aquarium

This aquarium is awesome! We saw everything from brine-shrimp to octopus. Munchkin loved the salt water aquariums.

Living Planet Aquarium

Munchkin was totally freaked out by the hands-on area of the aquarium. The thought of touching a sting ray made him quiver. Eventually he warmed up to the idea of putting his hands in the water, as long as there wasn't a chance of a slimy encounter.

Our Wonderful Vacation

Being Munchkin's first road trip, I wasn't sure what to expect. Much to my satisfaction, he was a perfect angel. We watched "Cars" time and time again on our portable DVD player as we traveled, which helped tremendously. He enjoyed every moment of this trip. At the end of it all when the adults were growing tired (and smelly) Munchkin was still going full force.

Grand Prismatic

This is the largest natural pool in the world, or as Jeremy so poetically puts it "The Earths Butt-hole" located at Midway Geyser Basin.
